We are proud to have completed the lighting project for a stunning oceanfront home in West Vancouver, Canada. Designed and handcrafted by local lighting designer Oehl, each fixture not only enhances the elegance of the space but also serves as a work of art within the architectural narrative.
In the living room, Oehl designed a hexagonal ring chandelier, constructed with dark bronze-coated aluminum. The inner side features an embedded acrylic diffuser, delivering soft, ambient illumination. The design exudes a quiet confidence—modern yet timeless, becoming a statement centerpiece in the open living area.
Suspended in the stairwell that spans three floors, a composition of 20 circular ring pendants creates a striking visual effect—like halos descending from above. The installation elevates the staircase from a transitional space to a vertical gallery of light and movement.
Above the dining area, Oehl handcrafted a ceiling light fixture using solid wood, perfectly echoing the texture and warmth of the cabinetry and flooring. This thoughtful materiality ensures a sense of cohesion throughout the open-plan space.
All lighting fixtures were handmade in our Vancouver studio, reflecting a refined integration of craftsmanship and technology. They are not merely sources of light, but sculptural elements that transform and define the atmosphere of the home.
This project is more than a lighting installation—it is a curated experience of illumination and interior artistry. We are honored to have contributed to bringing this vision to life.
